The LeafGuard® design for a one-piece, debris-deflecting, covered gutter, was so good that many other companies have tried to copy it. Some even advertise their products as “leaf guards” using this generic term to try and gain some of the prestige of the LeafGuard® brand name.
But while this is flattering, it is also an attempt to confuse consumers into thinking that any form of “leaf guard” is the same as a LeafGuard® gutter. But because the LeafGuard design is patented, all of these gutter filters, screens, hoods, toppers and helmets are simply after-market covers for open gutters.
Don't be fooled by imitators that call themselves leaf guards. They aren't the same as a LeafGuard® Brand gutter. You can trust a LeafGuard gutter. LeafGuard brand gutters have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal, the foremost symbol of quality assurance and safety in America.
